Scapular fractures

The first monograph on scapular fractures in the international literature. The book explains in detail the general principles of diagnosis and therapy of scapular fractures accompanied by a detailed analysis of 519 scapular fractures in adults, including 150 operated cases, 39 fractures in children and adolescents. Professor Jan Bartoníček is an internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon, who is also the author of the chapter on scapular fractures in the 8th edition of Rockwood and Green’s Fractures in Adults.
U příležitosti 100. výročí založení Německé společnosti byla oceněna monografie Scapular Fractures a pan profesor Bartoníček Stromeyer-Probstovou medailí. Ta je každoročně udělována autorům vynikající publikace z oboru traumatologie, publikované v německém, anglickém nebo francouzském jazyce.
